I'm a UX design and entrepreneurship student at the University of Michigan. What pulls me into projects is simple: my curiosity is never-ending. Every design challenge is like a puzzle in disguise, and the process of putting the pieces together always excites me!
Outside of design, I'm probably watching movies, trying a new restaurant, at the gym, traveling, drawing, or golfing with my family. The people-first thing doesn't really switch off outside of work either.

Latest detour…
I spent a month in Barcelona learning from Spanish design thinking professors. The experience was unforgettable, and my professors pushed me to pick a problem and talk to actual strangers, despite the language barrier, to understand real pain points before designing anything.
We rapid-prototyped, got feedback, and iterated in Figma Make for two different projects.
It was the first time I really felt the difference between designing from an idea versus designing entirely from the problems people tell you.
My design philosophy
Research is leverage
I value taking the time to really understand a problem before jumping to solutions, even when it's the first thing pressure tends to cut. It usually ends up being the thing that matters most.
Objective over ego
Remembering that work belongs to the goal and not to me makes it easier to stay open and let feedback shape an experience into something better.
Prove it, then polish
Staying low-fidelity for as long as the problem needs it, then moving quickly once the direction feels right helps effort go towards what's actually going to work.
